Somatic neck releases

Somatic movement re-patterning is about aligning and releasing your (tight) muscles without force or strain, whilst keeping a mindful attention throughout your body. It’s what happens when you do less in the body!

Somatic movement contrasts tight muscle contraction with easeful, slow lengthening. This results in muscular release, the establishment of altered neurological pathways to your brain and a conscious awareness how to move without tension.

In this way you can recalibrate your posture, become aware of habitual patterns that create discomfort and regain control with awareness.
