Forward bends reduce headaches, quieten the mind, soothe the nervous system and invite pratyhara (sense withdrawal).
Begin to find ways to unhook your attention from unhelpful thoughts so that the body and mind can be at ease.
The simple set-up for this position (shown in the video below) invites you when you are most stressed, to take time for self-care.
