Sleep hygiene is a term used to describe good sleep habits. There is much evidence to suggest that such strategies provide long-term solutions for sleep. These are general guidelines, and some or all of these may assist you with sleep. Everyone’s rhythms are different, so it is important to adapt these to you. Hours of sleep
The National Sleep Foundation has developed age-specific recommended sleep durations based on a systematic review of world scientific literature relating sleep duration to health, performance and safety (2015). These scientific guidelines indicate the amount of sleep we need each night to improve our sleep health!
